Here's how it goes:

Your reservation must be effected on www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at and the claim must be checked by our customer support team.

The best price guarantee applies under the following terms:

  • You have made a room booking with www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at .
  • If within 24 hours of making your booking, you find a better deal in another online portal
  • The other booking details (arrival and departure date, travelling/ beneficiary persons) are identical in relation to the comparative offer
  • All other booking conditions are identical in relation to the comparison offer
  • The comparison offer is available online and is not more than 24 hours from the time your booking enquiry was received in Pletzer Resorts
  • The net price is the comparison price in the context of the guaranteed best price, i.e. without taxes,gratuities or any other fees connected to the room price
     

The guaranteed best price does not apply to the following price types:

  • The better value comparison offer is not a discount-, voucher-, or promotion, and is not part of a loyalty or other bonus programme.
  • The guaranteed best price is not granted for obvious errors in pricing, known as 'Error Fares' in other online portals
  • Qualified discount rates available to members of special programs or associations (i.e. ÖAMTC members, seniors, government staff, loyalty programmes, employee discounts);
  • Special "exclusive offers" or "online coupons" or email solicitations not intended for the general public;
  • Rates not publicly available, such as negotiated Group or Corporate rates; including extended stay rates for groups;
  • Offer rates that include the room and other components such as parking, travel, car rental, entertainment, or meals excluding breakfast;
  • Prices found on opaque, bidding, or auction sites where the hotel brand, the specific hotel, the hotel location or price is not known until booking is finalized. Examples of these types of sites include Priceline and similar sites;
  • Any other unpublished or private rates or websites for which a registration is required.

Comparison prices

The comparison price must be found on a website available to be booked by the general public other than  www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at . The price must also have been found within 24 hours of booking your hotel room on www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at and at least 48 hours prior to midnight hotel local time of your arrival date.  

The comparison price must be for the same hotel, same reservation date(s), same room type (i.e. room size and amenities), same number of guests, same currency as the confirmation email from www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at . The same guidelines and restrictions for advance payment and refund policies and reimbursement must apply.  

The comparison price must still be available at the time customer service checks the claim, with suitable documentation of the comparison offer at the time of booking being something like a screen shot. 

The prices will be compared net of any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate. If taxes are included in the price on www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at , we will verify that the total cost of your comparison price is lower so that prices are compared on a relative basis. Price disparities solely attributable to rounding up, fluctuations or difference in currency exchange rates are excluded from the best price guarantee. Claims will be denied when the difference between the comparison price and the price on www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at is less than 1USD, 1EUR or 1GBP or equivalent in the local currency of the hotel. 

When a claim covers a stay for multiple, consecutive nights, the prices will be reviewed based on the average price over the entire stay (the total consecutive nights stayed by the same guest or guests in the same hotel, regardless of the number of check-ins or check-outs or separate reservations). Comparison prices applicable to only a portion of the reservation will not be honoured. 

If your reservation meets these criteria, let us know by submitting the relevant claim form.  

Customer service will verify the rate meets all of these best price guarantee terms and conditions and contact you via email. Once it is confirmed that your claim is justified, you will receive the lower price. For prepaid bookings, the difference will be refunded on the applicable credit card by the hotel. You may only submit one claim for each stay. 

If a new reservation confirmation number is provided for the new price, it must be presented at the hotel at the time of check-in.. 

The best price guarantee is invalid where prohibited by law, in particular where Pletzer Resorts is not permitted to grant it for reasons of competition law.

We reserve the right to change or discontinue the best price guarantee at any time without prior notice. We retain the sole right to determine the validity of any claim, whether a price qualifies as a comparison price, and whether a claim has satisfied the terms and conditions stated herein. Any dispute arising out of or related to the best price guarantee shall be handled individually and without any class action and is subject to the terms of the website usage agreement found on www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at. The conditions for the best price guarantee are subject to Austrian law and are to be interpreted accordingly. If the comparison price is reserved through any website other than www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at , we are not responsible for any fees or other costs incurred due to cancellation of a reservation. 

Submit a claim

If you find a lower room price within 24 hours of booking and at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date, submit a claim and we will honour the lower rate and on top of that provide all the advantages of making a direct booking!   1. Within 24 hours of making your reservation on www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at visit the 'Service & Contact' section www.pletzer-resorts.com or www.dashopfgarten.at  and click on "Contact', then complete the contact form .
  2. A completed claim form is only valid when submitted within 24 hours of the booking and at least 48 hours prior (to midnight local time of the hotel) arrival date to be eligible.
